Over ₱339B in assets: Cebu still richest province

CEBU CITY, PHILIPPINES — COA data showed that Cebu posted total assets of over 339.85 billion, far surpassing other provinces nationwide and underscoring its position as a major economic hub in the country.

Trailing Cebu by a wide margin is Rizal, which reported assets amounting to over 44.095 billion, followed by Camarines Sur with over 33.22 billion, Batangas with 32.61 billion; Cavite with over 26.77 billion, and Ilocos Sur with over 26.118 billion.

Other provinces in the top ten in assets included Davao de Oro with over 23.35 billion, Iloilo with over 22.33 billion, Negros Occidental with over 22.15 billion, and Bukidnon with over 21.92 billion.
