CEBU CITY, PHILIPPINES — COA data showed that Cebu posted total assets of over ₱339.85 billion, far surpassing other provinces nationwide and underscoring its position as a major economic hub in the country.
Trailing Cebu by a wide margin is Rizal, which reported assets amounting to over ₱44.095 billion, followed by Camarines Sur with over ₱33.22 billion, Batangas with ₱32.61 billion; Cavite with over ₱26.77 billion, and Ilocos Sur with over ₱26.118 billion.
Other provinces in the top ten in assets included Davao de Oro with over ₱23.35 billion, Iloilo with over ₱22.33 billion, Negros Occidental with over ₱22.15 billion, and Bukidnon with over ₱21.92 billion.
