These are the words shared by four remarkable women behind Plantation Bay, a Real Resort with a Real Spa, when asked to describe the resort. Formerly known as Plantation Bay Resort and Spa, this Mactan Island destination offers a genuine escape, a serene environment, exciting adventures, and exceptional food. 

Leading the resort’s continued growth and innovation are Human Resources Manager and OIC General Manager Ms. Colleen Barcelona, Finance Manager Ms. Aileen Velez, MIS Manager Ms. Cherry Allego, and Public Relations Officer Ms. Charie Borres. 

Barcelona explained that the recent rebranding from “Plantation Bay Resort and Spa” to “Plantation Bay, a Real Resort with a Real Spa” highlights the resort’s ideal facilities as both a true resort and a true spa. She added that the resort is transitioning toward holistic wellness through upgraded facilities, equipment, and staff training to meet global wellness needs. 

Allego shared that their target market includes people who value space, serenity, adventure, great food, and a genuine escape—making Plantation Bay perfect for families, couples, seniors, single parents, and solo travelers. She added that the resort maintains world-class standards by investing heavily in employee training, with many staff members growing with the company for years.
