CEBU CITY, PHILIPPINES — The Freeman Foundation, the humanitarian arm of The Freeman publication, has prepared over 500 relief packs for families affected by the 6.9-magnitude earthquake in Northern Cebu. The relief goods will be transported and distributed this coming Sunday, October 5.
The foundation, with the help of The Freeman employees and volunteers, repacked donations that poured in from individuals and companies.










Among the generous donors are Mr. Jose Miguel Gullas of the University of the Visayas, Angie Isidro, Jay Fernandez of TwinBee, Alvin Durante, Ivu Jane Yap Bonane, Elmo Yap Mabao, Angela Empasis and Katherine Angala of Diamond Suites & Residences, Diamond Suites & Residences, AppleOne Group, Barangay Sto. Niño, Cebu City Captain Lourdes ‘Lulu’ Ramirez, Jocelyn Go, Avia Baje Kiamco, Mary Jane Pandac, Niel Padayao, Sheen Abigail Dacuyan, Genesis Lambon, Jathleen Jaca, Florencia Racal Ripper, Noel Jumao-os, Rolando Escotel, Mylen Manto and Shalla Camporedondo.
The Freeman Foundation is still open for receiving donations for the next batch of relief distribution scheduled next week.
We welcome in-kind donations such as drinking water, canned goods, noodles, hygiene kits, diapers, and dog and cat food for our fur pets.
