Kenneth Raymund H. King: Building Cities, Creating Hope

As Cebu continues to grow, so does the vision of Kenneth Raymund H. King. As Managing Director of King Properties and Executive Director of the Juanito I. King Foundation, he carries a legacy built on service, integrity, and compassion. But for Kenneth, leadership is not about status—it is about responsibility.

“We don’t just inherit a legacy,” he says. “We are entrusted with it.”

Coming from a family known for both business and philanthropy, Kenneth understands the weight of that responsibility. His father and grandfather built not only companies, but institutions that helped communities. Today, he works to continue that mission by improving and adapting it for modern times.

At King Properties, he leads with a clear vision: to build spaces that help people live better. The company focuses on sustainable design, smart planning, and projects that support Cebu’s growth. “Tradition is our anchor,” Kenneth says. “Innovation is our sail.”

He also embraces technology to improve customer experience. From virtual property tours to online payments, digital tools help make services faster and more convenient. Still, he believes technology should always serve people. “Technology is not just a tool,” he says. “It’s how we serve customers better.”

Beyond business, Kenneth remains deeply involved in the family foundation. Its programs in education, healthcare, and nutrition have helped many communities. “Charity, for us, isn’t an option,” he says. “It’s a responsibility.”

Despite his role, Kenneth stays grounded. He values teamwork, listens to others, and continues to learn. “Leadership is not about position,” he says. “It’s about service.”

For him, success is not just about buildings. “Legacy is not measured in square meters,” he reflects. “It’s measured in impact.”
